Cherished Memories

Good Morning Crafty Friends

Woohoo, all done and finished so today I can get some crafting done.
I desperately need to get my Christmas cards finished now and make a start on some videos.

Today Toni from Stamps by Me is on Create and Craft at 1 pm.

Today's card is one I made for her new release a couple of weeks ago. I used the Cherished Memories stamp and die set.

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white scalloped edge square base card.
2. Using the Square Peg stencil from my website I distressed onto the base card using Generation INX Blue.
3 I then stamped the flowers and die cut using the corresponding dies.
4. I then coloured with Zig Clean Colour brush pens.
5. To finish off I then adhered to the card base and stamped the sentiment.

Thanks a Bunch

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

and relax! Everything is put back in its rightful place and we are so happy with how it has all come together. The new recliner massage chairs are wonderful. I spent all yesterday getting the windows cleaned, curtains put back up and all my ornaments, glasses, books and videos back!

Today is all about crafting!

Today Toni from Stamps by Me is on Create and Craft at 5 pm and then on Sunday at 1 pm.
She will have the beautiful "Just the right words" dies and stamps that work perfectly with the dies.

I was on holiday when they first appeared so didn't make any samples but here is something I made to show you how beautiful they are.

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square scalloped edge base card.
2. Matted and layered black and pink card.
3. Stamped the "valued friend" stamp with Versafine then embossed, I then used the coordinating die to cut out and adhered to pink card.
4. I then die cut the word "thanks" from the die set and then stamped the "a bunch".
5. To finish off I coloured the flowers and leaves with Faber Castell pencils, then stencilled the hearts from my Love Heart stencil which you can find over on my website.

Deer Wood

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A very busy day today, cleaning windows, putting furniture back in their places and finish the housework now that everything is all done.

The new flooring looks fabulous and we are so pleased to finally be getting back to normal it has been a long 4 weeks.

Today sharing a winter's card with you using IndigoBlu's Deer Wood Stamp.

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square base card with corners punched with X-cut corner punch.
2. Matted and layered navy blue card.
3. To create the background of the topper I used Distress Oxieds, faded jeans, broken china and salty ocean.
4. I then stamped the image with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I then stamped over the image slightly off centre with black Archival ink, this gives a nice shadow effect.

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

How are you all today, midway through the week already.

I am excited as my new wood flooring gets laid tomorrow and then I can finally get back to normal (or as normal as I can be)

Last weekend Toni from Stamps by Me had this new Love and Laughter die and stamp set on and I made this mixed media tag.

Step by Step

1. 61/4 by 31/4 MDF tag.
2. Using Tim Holtz wall stencil and Liquitex modeling paste created the wall background.
3. I then gave it a coat of brown paint once this was dry, dry brushed teal over the raised areas.
4. Stamped the bouquet, flowers and leaves then die cut, I then painted with water colour.
5. To finish off I added the ribbon.
